    Howard Jenkins: Thomas Evans, of Gwynedd, son of Thomas, b. 1st mo. 24, 1733, d. 9th mo. 3, 1818, m. 1765, Elizabeth Roberts (b. 11th mo. 19, 1740, d. 1794), dau. of John and Jane Roberts, of Whitpain. (See Roberts Genealogy) The Family Record (1797) speaks of him as living where his father did (the farm on the SE corner of Sumneytown Pike and Evans Rd.) and calls him familiarly "Tommy Evans."
