Dilworth 83 of 1216 Fifth Ave., formerly of Cortland, who died Tuesday evening in Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Dilworth was born May 7, 1916, in Warren, a son of Thomas I and Jessie Kilpatrick Dilworth. He was assistant postmaster for Cortland Post Office for 10 years. He retired in 1973.He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Cortland, The National Association of Retired Federal Employees 2122 and American Civil Liberties Union. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving with the Adjutant General's office, and was a member of Johnston VFW Post 7614. He leaves his wife, the former Mary Winters, whom he married Dec. 3, 1949. Two brothers, Robert and Harold, and two sisters, Mary Dann and Dorothy Wakefield, are deceased. Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Robert Dexter "Poppie" Dilworth, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1918, in Warren, Ohio. A resident for five years, he was a retired maintenance worker for an auto manufacturer, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Road Runners and YMCA.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian; one son, Thomas Harold Dilworth of Kinsman, Ohio; two daughters, Dorothy Donna Dilworth of Las Vegas and Bobbie Jean Dilworth of Cortland, Ohio; one brother, Thomas Moore Dilworth of Cortland; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
