Thomas married Mary "May" M. (nee Loughner) in 1920, according to family information. She was a daughter of Daniel Loughner and Frances Adaline Means. Mary M. was age 1 in the 1880 Shafton, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania census. Her mother died around 1885 and was buried in the Brush Creek Cemetery, according to family information from Ancestry.com.
