    Connors, Thomas John Thomas John Connors, World War II veteran, businessman and sports enthusiast, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at 11:05 a.m. at his home in Franklin. He was born in New York City on July 22, 1924, the eldest son of the late Thomas A. Connors and the late Marie LaMarche Connors, who were of Lake Forest, Ill. Mr. Connors is survived by his wife of 14 years, Anne Lobdell Connors, a native of Franklin; and three children from his former marriage, Theresa Connors Johnson and her husband, Richard, of Denver, Marjorie Connors Leggitt Krull and her husband, Nick, of Boulder, Colo., and Peter Connors of Denver; five grandchildren, Sam Johnson of New York, N.Y., Charlie Johnson and Eloise Johnson, both of Denver, Hunter Leggitt of San Diego, and Gretchen Leggitt of Fort Collins, Colo.; two brothers, Henry L. Connors and his wife, Mary Agnes, of Buckhannon, W.Va., and Edward Connors and his wife, Hope, of Denver; a sister, Ms. Marie Connors Roberts of Vero Beach, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that visiting hours be observed Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin, with the Rev. Michael Russo, celebrant. Interment in the Franklin Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family members at the Trowbridge House on Second Street in Franklin from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The family requests any memorial donations be made to the 10th Mountain Division Foundation Inc., 133 S. Van Gordon St., Suite 200, Lakewood, CO 80228 or to Journey Hospice, 101 LaRue France, Lafayette, LA 70508. Arrangements entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary.
