Information on Thomas Cofer

Thomas Cofer bought 70 acres on Elk Run, Orange County in 1745, just south of John Rucker (Jr?). A dau. of William Offall and Mary Rucker (John Sr.'s sister) did marry a J. Cofer by one reference. James? Jacob? Josias? Jesse? or Joel? This was likely the same 70 acres on Elk Run, adj. George Anderson, Robert Taliaferro and Thomas Rucker, patented in 1739 by William Pearse.
