Thomas J. Clarke

Services for Thomas J. Clarke, 38, of 695 Fenelon Place will be at 10 am Friday at Nativity Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 pm Thursday at Behr's, where the parish wake service will be at 8 pm Thursday.

Mr. Clarke died at 6 am Wednesday at home. He was born in Dubuque. He was a welder and, more recently, a private detective. He was a member of Dubuque American Legion Post No. 6, DAV, and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife, the former Janeen McCarthy; two sons, Christopher T. of Dubuque and Ryan M. of Freeport, Ill.; a step-daughter, Jennifer M. Heim, and a step-son, Jeff J. Heim, both of Dubuque; his mother, Dolores Clarke of Dubuque, and his father, Harvey Clarke of Tennessee.
