I Thomas Bowen of St. Clair Township Bedford County State of Pennsylvania, Being weak of Body but of perfect mind and memory and calling to mind The Mortality of this Body do make and Ordain this as my Last Will and Testament hereby Revoking and Disanulling all other Will or Wills by me Made, do constitute and ordain this as my last Will and Testament.

Imprimis that is to say my Body to be Decently buried and funeral charges first paid and all my Just Debts to be paid, By my Executors Hereafter to be named--

Imprimis I order and direct that my Brothers and Sisters Namely, Rachel Russell, Sarah Wilson, and William Bowen's Heirs namely Thomas Bowen & David Bowen, Jonathan Bowen, Mary Fields, John Bowen and Lydia Mathers' Heirs to come in for their Mothers Share, and The aforesaid Thomas Bowen & David Bowen Heirs of William Bowen to come in for their fathers Share. The aforementioned Heirs are to have all my Estate both Real and personal equally divided Amongst them.

I likewise Constitute and ordain My Well Beloved Brother Jonathan Bowen & my Beloved Friend Thomas Blackburn son of Anthony Executors of this my Last Will and Testament

Came into Court Jonathan Bowen and Thomas Blackburn, executors of The estate of Thomas Bowen, late of St. Clair Township., deceased, and produced The account of their administration by which it appears there is a balance of $1,615.36 1/2 subject to distribution. Court confirmed and distribution awarded. (Bedford County Orphans Court Records).
