BISHOP, Thomas, age 77 of Sumas, passed away at home Wednesday, July 6, (1966). A lifetime resident of the Sumas area, he is survived by his wife, Mary; 3 sons, Lloyd of Anacortes; John of Bellingham; Harold of Sumas; 2 daughters, Mable Fleenor and Juanita Lagerwey, both of Sumas; 3 brothers, William, George and Arthur, all of Sumas; 2 sisters, Mrs. Nell Hoffman of Seattle, and Mrs. Mary Remington of Bellingham; also 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Gillies Funeral Home in Sumas Monday, July 11 at 2 p.m., Rev. Earl Crouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Sumas Cemetery. Friends wishing may donate to the Cancer Fund.
