Chapman, Univ. ofNottingham, 1974], page 111 reads "24 Mar 1767 [174/243782] Hshldgds in his dwho., stone, cob and slated £50; utensils and stk therein £150; Ho., cellar, stables, linney in Bovey Tracey, called Rockwell Ho. now empty, stone, cob and thatched, £100 Teacher: Thomas went to Ackworth to an appointment of £84 perannum with a free house and probably rations.
