Obituary

THORNDILL -- Mrs. Theresa Thorndill aged 67, a native of Grand Rapids and former resident of Chicago, the wife of Eugene E. Thorndill, passed away Tuesday evening at St. Petersburg, Fla., where she has been residing. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Gertrude (Tobias C.) Lappinga of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Abel B. Verhake of Tampa, Fla., and Martin B. Verhake of Grand Rapids, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Thorndill will be brought to the Metcalf Mortuary Friday noon and funeral services will be held in the Metcalf Chapel at 11 o'clock Saturday morning, Dr. Carl E. Martenson of Park Congregational church will officiate. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.
