Obituary

LAPPINGA -- Mrs. Gertfude Lappinga, widow of the late Tobias Lappinga, aged 77, of 1061 Parkhurst Ave., NW, passed away at the Glenwood Christian Rest Home, Thursday evening she is survived by a daughter Mrs. Neil (Violet) Everise; two brothers, Abel R. Verhake, of Tampa, Florida, and Martin B. Verhake of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Van't Hof Funeral Home. The Rev. G. Rozeboom officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Lappinga reposes at the funeral home, where relatives and friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock on Saturday and Sunday.
