Obituary THORNDILL-- Eugene E. Thorndill, aged 77, a native of Grand Rapids, passed away after a long illness Wednesday where he made his home at St. Petersburg, Fla. Surviving are his wife Gertrude; three sisters, Mrs. Stuart Heyboer of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Charles Decker of Detroit, Mrs. Charles Serum of Skokie, Ill.; two brothers, Donald B. and George C. Thorndill, both of Grand Rapids; and nieces and nephews. Mr. Thorndill will be brought to the Metcalf Mortuary early Monday monring, Rev. Leon I. Miller, minister emeritus of Unity Church will officiate at graveside servides at the family lot in Rosedale Memorial Park at 1:30 Monday afternoon. Friends are requested to pleae omit flowers.
