Theodore was baptised "Petrus Theodorus" by Rev. P. F. Veniard. His sponsors were Ludovicus Gladieux and Maria Gladieux.

Theodore enlisted at the age of 21 and 11/12 in the U.S. Army. At the time he was a farmer. He had brown eyes, black hair and a ruddy complexion. He was put in the 28th Infantry.

Theodore re-enlisted at the age of 31 3/12 in the U.S. Army in Plattsburg, New York. He was 5'6" tall.

He was a prison guard.
