1. When TP came to Arizona, he worked first on the McCord Ranch in Mesa. According to "Conquest of a Continent", this McCord went on to become governor of Arizona. There also was a McCord family living close to the Bantas in Renssalaer, IN at the time of the 1880 census; perhaps they were related to the Arizona McCords.
2. In 1910, a Mc Kinnie family lodges with T.P. and Carrie.
