Thelma Louise Laughner Faust, 67, Forest, passed away Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Clarian Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, following a three-month illness.
She was born Feb. 23, 1943, in Frankfort, the daughter of Clayton and Ruthanna Peak Laughner.
Thelma was a 1961 graduate of Frankfort High School. She met the love of her life in 1959 and her marriage of 48 years was to Clinton Faust on July 1, 1962.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton Faust, Forest; sister, Nina (Arnold) Perry, Frankfort, nephew, Brian (Ann) Perry, niece, Regina (Jason) Passmore, and great-nieces and -nephew, Megan, Justin and Mikayla; sister, Joyce Boyer, Terre Haute, nephews, Douglas (Amanda) Adkins, Gerald Boyer and Samuel Boyer, and great-nieces and -nephews, Joseph, Michael, Taylor, Corelin, Isabella, Courtney, Lindsay and Trista; brother-in-law, David Embrey, Delphi, nieces, Marie Embrey and Dana (Terry) Waye, nephew, Davey Embrey, great-nieces and -nephews, Jeff, Jarrett, J.D., Tyler and Tayva; sister, Stella (Ronald) Carter, Frankfort, nieces, Jennifer Carter, Valerie (Sean) Galvin, Julia Carter and Mia Carter, nephews, Morris Carter, and great-nieces and -nephews, Forrest, Wyatt, Lilly and Natasha; brother, Dennis (Karla) Laughner, Frankfort, and nephew, Jeremiah (Jodi) Laughner; sister, Brenda Hall, Frankfort, nephew, Steven (Ashley) Hall, niece, Melissa (fiancé Ricky Black) Hall, and great-nieces and -nephews, Kamdin, Steven James and Blaine; nieces, Jonelle Smith and Suzie Primavera; nephew, Jon Smith, and great-nieces and -nephews, Charlie, Ben, Jack, Joe, Kara and Carley; brother-in-law, Dick (Mary) Faust, nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Roxy, Charley and Carl Faust; and sister-in-law, Grace Snipes, Frankfort, nephew, Brad Stewart, and great-nephews, Jake and Scott.
She was preceded in death by sister, Martha Embrey; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Charlene Smith; nieces, Ruth Ann Embrey and Nancy Pulley; and great-nephew, Mitchell.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday October 11, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home,
Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
