The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, September 4, 1947 Miss Tennie Cornatzor Daughter of Pioneer Family Dies in Crockett County

Humboldt, Tenn., -- Aug. 31

Services were held Saturday at Mitchell Street Church of Christ for Miss Tennie Cornatzor who died at her home here Friday from complications resulting from a fall three weeks ago. John W. Jarrett, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Young's Cemetery with Hunt Funeral Home in charge.

Miss Cornatzor, who was 85, was born and reared in Crockett County, the daughter of the late Jim and Ella F. Cornatzor, pioneer citizens of West Tennessee. She had made her home with her sister, Mrs. Fannie Pulley of Humboldt, for the page 30 years. She was a member of the Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Besides Mrs. Pulley, she leaves another sister, Mrs. Mollie Kee of Jackson.
