    In Little Genesee, N. Y., on the 11th inst., Temperance Maxson, wife of Zaccheus R. Maxson, aged 64 years, 9 months, and 16 days. Mrs. M. made a public profession of religion in early life, being about sixteen tears of age when she was baptized by Eld. Wm. Satterlee, and received into the church at Berlin, Rensselaer Co., N. Y.
    Removing her location, she became connected with the churches of DeRuyter, Truxton, and little Genesee, successively; and when death overtook her, she was still holding fast the profession of her faith, and departed in full assurance of a blessed immortality.
    Her sufferings, arising from a cancerous affection of the stomach, were great, but were endured with humble resignation. A large concourse of friends and relatives attended her funeral on Sunday, the 12th inst.
