Obituary found at http://www.geocities.com/milamco/ WILLIAMS, Pearl Pinkerton of Milano. Age 92. Died 3/1/1989 in Richards Memorial Hospital. Services held (Friday) 3/3 in Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in Salty Cemetery. Rev. Joe Stansell of First Baptist Church, Milano, officiated.

She was BORN 10/6/1896 to M/M. Horace & Mattie Jackson Pinkerton. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in Hickory Grove, Bushdale, Beaukiss, Rockdale, Gause and for many years in Milano. Married James Albert Williams in 1936. Preceded in death by husband on 4/15/1944. Member of the Methodist Church, Rockdale Eastern Star and was twice Worthy Matron.

SURVIVORS: Daughter & son-in-law, Patsy & George Trammell of Friendswood; sister, Helen Rush of Milano; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. SS Death Benefit on #464-54-8729.

There appears to be an error in Patsy's Aunt Pearl Pinkerton Williams' obituary (aove) as it claims Patsy is a surviving daughter of Pearl. This may be a transcriber's error or maybe it was published that way. In any case, according to the Texas birth index, Patsy Ruth Wilson and George Trammel had children in Texas. That would imply that she was the daughter of Pearl's sister, Helen Pinkerton, who married Mr Wilson. The same phrase "daughter & son-in-law, Patsy & George Trammell of Friendswood" also appears in Helen Pinkerton Wilson's obituary.
