Thus the Angel of death again stepped into our midst and selected andremoved therefrom another neighbor, another friend, another kind sister, another loving and affectionate mother, and conveyed her from this valeof woe to her place of eternal rest, where there are no shadows orsorrows, no clouds threatening at any moment to destroy our happiness, but where the light of eternal dawn shall shine upon her. For we areaccording to His promise to look for new heavens and new refuge whereindwelleth rightiousness. Another grave in the cemetery, to remind the weeping members of herbeloved family that she is not dead, but only gone before, to the landwhere we never say good-bye, preparing to set the golden gates of heavenajar, for those who are sure to follow.
