Facts and Events
Tamasin Nevins, daughter of Deacon Nevins of Cockermouth, was a widow of her former husband Mr. Calfe, with whom she had two or three children. Her children with Sylvanus were young when he died, and her son Thomas Calfe, being old enough, kept home for the family until George Woodworth was old enough to take over management of the farm. When George married Lois Hovey, she then assumed leadership of the household. |
