Mrs.. Sylvia Jane Stout Dodson HAW RIVER — Mrs.. Sylvia Jane Stout Dodson, 60, of 4269 Mine Hill Road, Haw River, died suddenly at 8:23 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Alamance County and was employed at the Southern High School cafeteria. Survivors include two sons, Mr. Mallory Strickland of Graham, and Mr. Jerry Strickland of the home; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Homer Dodson; and her parents, Robert Lee Stout and Etta Graves Stout. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church cemetery by the Rev. R. Richard Dawson, O.S.L., pastor of Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times they will be at the residence.
