Sylvester Smith born Oct. 6 1921 died June 14 2005. He served in the Navy and was a WWII Veteran. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #08886. He was a Deacon of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. He married Wynona Hager b. 1921 d. 1989 Marriage Year unknown. Son of Joseph Robert Smith and Nora Ethel Spears Smith Ball. Father Of Sandra Marie (born by another woman) Joseph Sylvester, Paul Howard (died in a logging accident in 2004), Roxie Ioline, and Colvin Ray. Funeral Services were held at Koontz Funeral Home and he was buried at the Adkins-Cummings Cemetery in Sias, W.Va He was buried with Military Rights by the grave site by the American Legion Post #111.
