Obituary for Suzanne Louise Gambol
Suzanne Louise Gambol, 71, of Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024, in the company of her beloved family.
Suzanne was born on July 17, 1953, in La Chapelle, France. She was the oldest child of Ronald and Elizabeth McCollum and the sister of Ronald Jr., Linda, Kevin, Eric, Jaime, Lisa, and Timothy McCollum. When she was not helping care for her siblings, Suzanne was an impressive student and athlete in her youth.
Suzanne worked as a registered nurse and nursing supervisor in area elderly care facilities for decades. She served as the Director of Nursing at Gateway Health Care Center in Euclid, Ohio for seventeen years.
Suzanne married her husband, Robert, on November 22, 1975. In their nearly 49 years of marriage, the couple enjoyed four children and five grandchildren.
Suzanne is survived by her husband, Robert, her children Melissa, Katrina, Frank (Sara), and Anthony (Elizabeth) Gambol, her grandchildren Mia, Mark, Magnus, Wren, and Charlotte, and her siblings Linda (Tommy) Holder, Kevin (Ruth) McCollum, Jaime (Carolyn) McCollum, Lisa (Keven) McCollum Wilson, and Timothy McCollum.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
