Susan Kathrine Downing was Gladys Davis' mother and Don Doyle Jaynes' grandmother. She was born in Kentucky in1870. She married Thomas Luther Davis #496 and they had 15 children. These included two sets of twins. Of the 15 children, 5 died before she did in 1925. There was a serious Influenza epidemic, and two of her teenage children as well as Thomas and she died in Wilson, Oklahoma.
