Her surname appears to have been anglicized to "Sherwood". She appears in the 1930 Census and later records as Mrs Hollis H Black or Susannah Black. Albert's wife from the 1920 Census on is Agnes M Varley. Albert and Susannah must have divorced and remarried. In son Joseph's obituary it is noted that a brother named Richard Black survives him.
