Susanna [possibly maiden name "Patton"]* is listed as he wife of Peter Swartz in several baptism records, deeds and in his will, written in 1814 and probated in 1816. Susanna apparently survived him but died before 1819, because the appraisal and sale of personal property, was not held until November 26, 1819, and there is no mention of the widow purchasing items at the sale. The settlement of the estate, list only his "four daughters and two sons" as heirs."
