Warren Co., IA Deaths misspell Chosles Flager and S.Hypes. Also see error spellings in Warren Co.,IA 1849-79 Marriages (Flagler-Sypes). One report stated that stones and bodies were moved from Hewett Cem. to IOOF cem. (?). Book III shows Susan born 22 Feb 1848 at Indianola; parents Jacob Hypes and Mary Peffley. Warren Co., IA records of this period are clearly often carelessly recorded. One record shows her born at Hendricks County, IN (Indianapolis), but it may have been an error in copying the state . It was more likely Hendrick, IA; which is a short distance NE of Ottumwa, IA. I have never pursued this data for better accuracy.
