SNOW CAMP - Mrs.. Sue Herndon Murray, 73, of 3407 Spanish Oak Hill Road, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham after 2½ years of failing health. A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of Mr. Bascom A. Murray, who survives, and the daughter of Mr. George M. Herndon and Mrs.. Mary G. Walker Herndon, who survive. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Survivors other than her husband of the home include a daughter, Mrs.. Keron Parker of Snow Camp; a sister, Mrs.. Nellie Traynham of Burlington; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Malcolm Herndon. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church by the Rev. William N. Hoss, pastor. The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
