Sterling E. Wildasin
GLENVILLE - Sterling E. Wildasin, 79, of Glenville, died at 12:25 p.m. Thursday at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of Gladys R. (Meckley) Wildasin, to whom he was married for 59 years.
The service will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Kenworthy Funeral Home Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Wildasin was born Dec. 9, 1921, in Glenville. He was the son of the late Paul and Ella (Fuhrman) Wildasin.
He was an equipment operator and road crew member for Manheim Township, retiring after several years of service. He attended Black Rock Church of the Brethren in Glenville and Calvary Bible Church in Hanover.
Mr. Wildasin also is survived by two sons, James S. Wildasin of Abbottstown and Jerry L. Wildasin of Glenville; a daughter, Jacqueline M. Garman of Glenville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Claire W. Shorb.
