"Stephen Keyes, Chelmsford. There is no record of his birth and it has been thought that he probably was a son of Elias Keyes of Sudbury. He recieved land in Chelmsford in the right of Solomon Keyes, and it is possible he was a son of Solomon and Frances (Grant) Keyes. He was married March 7, 1706, by Jonathan Tyng, Esq., to Anna Robbins. He died in Chelmsford Feburary 6, 1714."
[Note: is is clear from his father's will [Middlesex Probate 13203] that he was Solomon's son, especially given the information that he was granted land in right of Solomon, since that will names him as youngest son and residuary legatee, meaning he received all land and rights not specifically given, which would undoubtedly include the right by which he was granted land in right of Solomon.]
