Funeral Saturday with burial in Goodpaster burying ground by the G.A.R. His wife, a daughter of Abraham Goodpaster, died 11 years ago. Five daughter and one son were born to them, only ones surviving were: Mrs. Sarah Wilson of Owingsville and Mrs. Reuben Piersall. Ran the A.W. Bascom mill for many years, was a farmer and resided on the O. & Mt. S. pike until recent years. Solider in Co. D, 14th Ky. Cavalry during the Civil War. Member of Thomas Clark Post, G.A.R. and was a Federal pensioner. References
