WILL: The Bourne Valley Historical, Record and Conservation Society has in its archives nine hand written copies of wills in the period dated 1545 to 1661. At least five of these make a connection with the village of Newton Toney. Per Letter & copies provided by Mr. Keith P. Norris, Hon. The above legacies to be paid at my wives death or on her marriage. Robert Carpenter my brother John Carpenters son, one cow in lieu of a bullock bequeathed him by his grandfather Richard Carpenter.
