   Stella P. Cook, 89, of Garrett RD 1, died July 17, 1980, at her residence.  Born May 16, 1891, in Milford Township she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Lydia (Christner) Long.   She was also preceded in death by her husband, John A., who died in 1975.  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Sandusky, of Somerset; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  Also survived by one brother, Dewey Long, of Pittsburgh.   She was a member of Beachdale Church of the Brethren.   Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. William N. Hay officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
