    THOMPSON The funeral service for Stanley Theodore Thompson was held on Saturday, July 9, 2005 from SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Sarnia with Rev. Rob Lemon officiating. Granddaughter Susan Anderson and grandson Chad Thompson gave readings and the soloist was Anne Marie Noyle, accompanied by organist Mary Borody. Pallbearers were Danny Marshall, Bev Fraser, Bob Foley, Roy McKeown, Wayne Matheson and Vinny Prout. Interment followed in Lakeview Cemetery. Loving husband of Audrey. Loved father of Paul (Heather) Thompson and Carol (John) Dohan. Loving grandfather of Chris Dohan, Susan Anderson and Chad Thompson and great-grandfather to Morgan and Brent Anderson, and Owen Thompson. Survived by 5 sisters. The family of Stanley Thompson would like to thank the Canadian Red Cross, the Lung Association, Dr. Buckton for all his visits, the nurses and staff at Bluewater Health Mitton St. Site. A special thank you goes out to Diane Wilson and Jan Witherall for their loving care and compassion. Also thank you to family, friends and neighbours for all of their help and concern. Mr. Thompson passed away on July 6, 2005.
