1850-1869 Spencer McDaniel, Sr. (ca 1760-ca 1840) was one of the earliest settlers of Pulaski Co. In 1834, his son, Spencer McDaniel, Jr.(1782-1871) and wife Martha Derosset (b. ca 1805) moved their five children to Monroe Co., IN, and then to Morgan Co., IN a year later. Three additional children were born in Indiana.
