Alice J Wright, Farmersville, NY Historian tells me that Spencer Crary was a doctor and his name preceded Hiram Bond's in the County History p 128 under Medical Practitioners.

She noted that Hiram and Spencer must have been good friends for Hiram to name his son after Spencer Crary.
