4. Sophia Hoss, daughter of Henry Hoss and Anna Maria Sevier Hoss, married George D. French, of Morristown, Tennessee and had four daughters,
- Virginia French, who married E. R. Taylor and has one son, E. R. Taylor, junior ;
- Josephine French, who married W. C. Kreger, of Abingdon, Virginia and has three children, Jean Sevier
Kreger, W. D. Kreger, junior, and George French Kreger;
- Mattie French who is unmarried; and
- Dora French, who married _____ Barrow and has no children. She lives in Morristown.
