It could be a twin though no evidence of this is found. Only the last child, Abigail, has an explicit baptism record, so we can only guess. Given that typical spacing (unless a wet-nurse was being used) was two years between children, one would have expected a child born about 1714 and if this death was not John, that would be the most likely child to have died in 1716.
