  3. ↑ This man seems not to be well-covered. The hapless Source:Wheeler, Albert Gallatin. Genealogical and Encyclopedic History of the Wheeler Family in America, p. 544, seems to list the Newton part of his life but misses everything in Boston. Source:Thwing, Annie Haven. Inhabitants and Estates of the Town of Boston, 1630-1800, and the Crooked and Narrow Streets of Boston, 1630-1822 mostly lists him as the man who married the widow of John Herridge. His probate shows the same man was both. Based on the age at death, he may be the Ephraim Wheeler b. 1662 in Newbury to George Newbury and Susanna Stowers. But the parcels in Woodstock listed in his inventory suggests his origins may have been in Connecticut. More research is needed.
