In the 1830 and 1840 census in Charleston, Penobscot, Maine Joshua and Eliza Foss had one more son born about 1734. I have not been able to identity him. He was not living with them in the 1950 census at Newbury or later census records in Rowley. Some have erroneously added a son John Foss born Charleston who moved to Dexter and then Garland but his death record in 1915 shows he was son of Marden Foss and Amy Berry. Other researchers have added a daughter Frances Jane Foss who married Simon Greenleaf but there is no daughter in the 1830 and 1840 census and a review of her records shows she does not belong to this family. She was the daughter of John W Foss.
