    MRS. ESTES DEAD.
    Mrs. S.M. Estes died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G.H. Franklin, June the 2nd, of chronic rheumatism, in her eighty-fifth year.

    Mrs. Estes was greatly loved in her community and was held in the highest regard by all who knew her. She was a faithful member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

    Three children survive her: Mrs. G. H. Franklin, of Lick Branch; Mrs. S.D. Peden, of Glasgow, and Mr. E.H. Estes of Idaho. One brother also survives her - Mr. E.A. Peden of Glasgow.

    Rev. Kerigan conducted the funeral services after which the interment occurred in the cemetery at Lick Branch.
