Feb. 27, 1837 - William Scott vs. Mahala Scott - ". . . about the year 1834 a short time after he was married to said Mahala, she was guilty of adultery with a certain Albert Taylor, John H. Taylor and also a certain Simpson Suddath with other as your petitioner believes in or about June or July 1834 shortly after having been guilty of adultery with the persons as above mentioned she abandoned your petitioner and has led a dissolute life ever since abandoning herself in prostitution . . .
