Notes

The name of Benjamin Suddath's first wife is surmised to most likely be "Sarah" based upon the death record of her son Hargiss Suddath, who died in 1857 in Logan County, Kentucky. In that record, his parents are listed as "B and S Suddath", and the most likely name for "S" would be Sarah, although it could also have been Susan or some other less common name.

Some researchers have mistakenly claimed that her name was "Fanny", but they have apparently confused her with Benjamin Suddath's second wife, Frances "Fanny" Norman, whom he married in 1827, and is listed in the 1840 Census in Roane County, Tennessee.
