    On 25 Oct 1784 there was a contract for sale of land in Kerourde, Belle-Isle [sic] between Anselme LEBLANC and Simon LEBLANC & wife Marie TRAHAN, notarized by Girard de la CONTRIE.

    Simon was Anselme's uncle, and apparently sold him his land before leaving for Louisiana.
