 Hans Heinrich Hirsch of the Palatine area of Germany was deceased by 1740.

His widow, Juliana Maronica came to the US with their children by the Ship Lydia, on September 17, 1740. They landed at Port Pennsylvania, first settling in Philadelphia County. The children are listed, not necessarily in order of birth. 1. Simon Harsh born 1722 2. John Henry Harsh born c 1724 3. Catherine Harsh 4. Ludwig Harsh born probably 1735. Married Catherine Taub in 1755.

Simon is an ancestor of Harvey Harsh. Eli was a brother of Harvey's great grandfather. My Great Great Grandmother wa Catharine Harsh whose father was Phillip Harsh. She married Mathias Tressell.
