Grandfather Donald Newlan (born 1922 in Kokomo) remembers that his father helped with (or ran?) the family business - "Newlan Dairy." His father's name was Silas Earl Newlan (d: 1979) married to Ethel Hand (b: 1894). Silas and Ethel had 5 children. We have hit a brick wall and do not have names past Silas on the Newlan side. Anything on the Hand side would be appreciated too, as we have incomplete information there. We would also like to locate milk bottles or other labelled equipment from the dairy. If anyone can suggest where we might find that we would like that information too. Thank you! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ My great grandparents were Joseph and Sarah Newlan.
