Sidney was elected constable of Kern County and held that office for 26 years. He died of congestive heart failure the 26th of November, 1989 in Bakersfield, Kern County, California, USA. Doris was a Kern County probation officer for 25 years. She died the 20th of August, 1996 in Shafter, Kern County, California, USA. They are both buried in Wasco, Kern County, California, USA. They had two children.
