Groh Sheldon, 44, former Avilla area resident, died Tuesday in McCray. A co-owner of the Hayden Welding Co. in Kendallville, he was born Oct. 9, 1921, the son of Cleo and Ruth Drumm Groh. Surviving are the parents, his wife, the former Norma Jean Schlotterback; three daughters, Mariam, Jennifer, at home, and Christine, a student at San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Lawrence of Seattle, Wash.; and a sister, Mrs. Russell Hayden, Kendallville. Funeral will be Thursday in Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville. Burial, Lake View Cemetery. ~ 9-29-1966 + 9-?-1966
