Facts and Events
He attended Story City School and Capital City Commercial College, Des Moines. With Fred Corneluissen he developed Lake Comar, a recreational area 2 1/2 miles south of Story City, Iowa for swimming, boating, golf and entertainment. The name, Comar, was derived from the names of the two founders. When Seward sold his interest to Fred, he moved to Minnesota and farmed near Kenyon. Later he was in the garage business at Northwood, Iowa. In 1941 he moved to Ames, Iowa. References
