She was for some years president of the Immanuel Ladies Aid and also of the Story City Cemetery Society. She died at Minneapolis Sept 24, 1933, and was buried at Story City, Iowa, Sept 27, 1933. (delete for book) Her obituary in the Minneapolis, MN Tid. 28 Sept 1933; reads: Mrs. Martin O. Marvick, 3220 10th Ave. So. died Sunday at the age of 77 years. Survived by sons Albert and Seward; and daughters Miss Linnie Marvick and Mrs. Emily House.
